• Development
  Our goal at Agate is to use the latest in technology to provide the best solutions for our clients. We look for developers and programmers with experience, problem solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Minimum requirements are 2+ years of MS SQL Server (must know T-SQL) and 2+ years of ASP or ASP.net using Visual Basic.
  
• Project Management
  Agate Project Managers are responsible for consistently delivering quality projects on time and within budget through effective resource management and serve as the clients day-to-day primary contact. Perspective employees interested in a fast pace and exciting environment who are interested in pursuing a career at Agate should have the following:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience in project management, change management, resource management, completing projects on time.
  • Ability to lead a team of 3 – 5 people, consisting of developers and a business analyst.
  • 2-5 years experience in project management or related discipline
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Candidate must also a detail oriented person.
  • Previous programming or similar software application development business analysis experience is a plus.
  
• Sales
  Prospective employees interested in pursuing a career at Agate in Outside Sales or Account Management should have the following:
  • Bachelors Degree preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience, preferably with a background in solution selling techniques and state/federal government culture
  • Polished and professional demeanor
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to be successful in a team-oriented environment
